Early stage · In development
Control needs to hold up in practice.
Legroom is in development. Data flows, access, and spending controls are specified and tested for each introduction.
Coverage first
Identify tracked tools, local and remote usage, and costs that need separate sources. Make unmeasured use visible.
Data paths and access
Name the sources, model gateway, environments, and people with access. Stored data, retention, and responsibility are clarified for the specific solution.
Tested boundaries
Verify person and team budgets, run limits, alerts, and spending controls on the selected usage. Agree expected behavior at the limit and in failure scenarios.
One request, one charge
A request observed by both proxy and gateway must not inflate spend twice. Measured, estimated, and unmeasured items stay distinct.
Clear responsibility
Before starting, agree who monitors spending, who can change limits, and who handles failures. Test the solution we build together in your environment before putting it into use.
