AI spend & control

More visibility. More legroom.

Who spent what, on which work—and what came out of it? Legroom is being built to bring local and remote AI use into one cost picture.

Early stage · In development

Local + remote → one picture

Separate sources, a fragmented view of spend.

Interactive illustration · not live spending data

The bill is only half the story.

More teams, more tools, more automation. Spending grows while the link to responsibility and results gets harder to follow. Legroom aims to give your next decision a sound basis.

Where did it go?

Selected tools, usage, owners, and measurement coverage in one view.

Which work was it for?

People, sessions, and runs connected to a task and its result.

What room is left?

Person and team budgets, run limits, alerts, and tested spending controls.

Measured. Estimated. Still missing.

A useful picture shows its own boundaries. These categories are kept distinct when we scope the introduction.

Coverage / Legroom

Measured API cost

Usage tracked by connected sources. Each request is counted once, even when both a proxy and gateway observe it.

Subscription fees

A separate cost category. Charges invisible to the proxy may need another data source.

Estimated task cost

An estimate attributed to the task, with its method and limitations.

Unmeasured use

Tools and costs outside the coverage remain visible gaps.

The gaps count, too.

One task. Work in two places.

The planned metering and proxy layer tracks model use on a developer’s machine and in remote execution environments.

A common usage and cost picture

We can connect to your existing enterprise model gateway or provide controlled model access. Supported usage and controls are verified in the actual environment.

Early stage. A clear next step.

We’re building Legroom now. Our first aim is to show which work accounts for spending and how to keep it within a budget. Together, we agree what is needed for the first use case, then test it in your environment. Automated cost optimization comes later.

Assessing return requires spend, a baseline, accepted results, quality, and human effort.

How we can start ↗

Berek, when the work needs connecting too.

Berek can provide execution, task, and session context; Legroom focuses on financial tracking. Berek is optional: we can work with your existing tools.

Fair questions.

Will it see all our AI spending?

Coverage depends on the sources we select and connect. Subscriptions and infrastructure may require separate sources; gaps are labeled.

Are savings guaranteed?

We evaluate useful-result cost against actual usage, quality, and human review effort. We do not make a general savings promise upfront.

When can we start, and what will it cost?

Scope, timing, and fees are agreed around access, integrations, and the development required.

Do we need Berek?

No. Legroom can be fitted to existing tools. The two products can be introduced together or separately.
